Here are honest 2026 numbers from a working Cornish installer. These are supplied‑and‑installed prices, for hand‑applied work using the full CimentArt system — not the £40/m² DIY kits.
Indicative 2026 UK pricing
- Microcement floors: £150 – £200 per m² for simple open spaces over a sound screed.
- Microcement walls: £180 – £220 per m² for full rooms; feature walls priced per piece.
- Microcement bathrooms / wet rooms: £200 – £280 per m² (more detail, more tanking, more brassware to cut around).
- Microcement kitchen worktops: £350 – £500 per m² (denser specification, food‑safe sealer, edge detail).
- Microcement stairs: typically £250 – £350 per linear metre of staircase.
What pushes the price up
- Poor substrate condition (needs significant levelling or preparation).
- Complex geometry — curves, niches, bullnose edges, multiple returns.

The cost mistake that costs ten times more
Cheap microcement is, almost without exception, under‑specified microcement. Skipped mesh, fewer base coats, lower‑grade sealer, inexperienced applicator. A floor installed this way will hairline‑crack within a season, and the only fix is to re‑do it from the substrate up.
