About
A builder first.
A microcement specialist by intent.
Cornwall Microcement is the dedicated microcement division of J2JPH Construction, founded and personally operated by Jonathan Heywood from his workshop in Wadebridge.

Twenty years of getting it right the first time.
Jon spent his first two decades in the building trade learning the long way — sash window restorations in Padstow conservation streets, ground‑up architect builds on the Camel estuary, listed barn conversions, sea‑facing kitchens that need to outlast salt air.
What he learned across those years was unflashy: the work that endures is the work where every layer beneath the surface has been done properly. That belief became the natural way into microcement — a finish that, when it's installed right, is one of the most beautiful and bombproof surfaces money can buy. When it's not, it cracks within a season.
Jon trained directly on the CimentArt system — the Spanish‑manufactured, polymer‑modified microcement used by some of Europe's most exacting architects — and now applies it exclusively. He carries full public liability insurance, written health‑and‑safety documentation, and a method statement for every job.
From the workshop in Wadebridge, Cornwall Microcement covers Padstow, Rock, Bodmin, Truro, Newquay, St Ives and Falmouth as standard, the wider South West with no travel charge, and travels nationwide for larger commissions. For a closer look at how the material performs in Cornish barns, cottages, holiday lets and coastal new‑builds, see Microcement in Cornish homes.
One craftsman
From sample to seal, Jon applies every coat personally. No subcontracted installers.
One material system
Only CimentArt — the European microcement system trusted across high‑end European architecture.
One promise
Every project is left with a written care guide and a five‑year aftercare relationship.
Who we work with
Architects, interior designers, private clients.
Cornwall Microcement works directly with homeowners and quietly alongside the county's leading architectural practices and interior studios. Whether it's a single feature wall in a Falmouth townhouse or every floor of a clifftop new build, the engagement model is the same — site visit, sample, written quote, scheduled install.
